What, Are You Shitting Me?

The National Journal's "Earlybird" news roundup from this morning reports the following:

House Democratic leaders will meet today to consider a new slogan for the 2006 midterm elections. Two contenders are, "Together, We Can Do Better" and "Together, America Can Do Better."
I'd like to propose a couple alternatives for them to consider:

"Jesus Fucking Christ Will Someone Introduce the Democrats to Marketers with Brains or Balls?"
Or:

"How About Democrats Fire All the Student-Body-President Dimwits Running Things Over There and Start Acting as Though This Nation Is in The Crisis Everyone but Them Seems To Recognize?"
With shorter versions for bumper stickers, of course.

HOLY SHIT, Lame. Man, you're right. How about "We're the Party that got no one killed!"??? no? um... "Peace, Prosperity, and Blowjobs - The Democrats"??? no? I'll keep working on it.

It's nice to know someone else has noticed how LAME Congressional Democrats are being. A warmed over Howard Dean stump speech phrase isn't going to inspire citizens to vote for the lesser of two evils.

It really is time to get the torches and pitchforks and drive out those Republican monsters. But first... somebody needs to drive out that band of loser belt-way campaign consultants and DLC apologists.

Throw the rascals out! Open government, fiscal responsibility, equal justice - no special rights for corporations! ... [ liberty, fraternity, equality ;-) ]

First the Dems have to find their collective spine.

Then get a solid platform that will set forth goals and inspire.

And for slogans?? How about, "To Do the Right Thing, For A Change"

I find it hard to believe that the Dems cannot find a fire starter, and can come up with tired old over used slogans.
